How to humanize content using GPThuman?

GPT Human helps you transform AI-generated content into natural, human-like text that bypasses AI detection tools. Follow these steps to humanize your content:

Step 1: Access the Humanizer

Log in to your GPT Human account and navigate to the Humanizer from your dashboard. You'll see a two-column interface with settings on the left and results on the right.

Step 2: Configure Your Settings

Before pasting your content, choose the appropriate settings for your needs:

Tone Options:

  • Standard: General-purpose writing suitable for most content

  • High School: Simpler language, easier to understand

  • College: More sophisticated vocabulary and structure

  • PhD: Academic and formal writing style

Mode Options:

  • Professional: More conservative humanization, stays closer to original

  • Balanced: Optimal mix of originality and human-like quality

  • Enhanced: Maximum humanization for best AI detection bypass

Step 3: Add Your Content

You have two options to add content:

Option A: Paste Text

Copy your AI-generated text and paste it directly into the text box. The system will automatically count your words and show you how many credits this will cost (typically 1 word = 1 credit).

Option B: Import from File

Click "Import from file" to upload a document. Accepted formats are:

  • Microsoft Word (.docx)

  • PDF (.pdf)

The system will automatically extract the text from your file.

Step 4: Check Your Word Count

Watch the word counter at the top right of the text box:

  • Regular text appears in gray when within your plan's limit

  • Text appears in red if you exceed your plan's maximum words per humanization

  • Maximum words vary by plan

Step 5: Click "Humanize"

When you're ready, click the "Humanize" button. The system will:

  • Automatically detect your content's language

  • Process your text

  • Display a loading indicator while working (typically 10-30 seconds)

Step 6: Review Your Results

Once complete, you'll see three important scores:

Human Score (out of 100): Indicates how human-like your text appears and your chances of bypassing AI detectors. Aim for 80+ for best results.

Readability Score: Based on the Flesch-Kincaid readability test, showing how easy your text is to understand.

Similarity Score: Shows how similar the humanized version is to your original text (as a percentage).

Your humanized text appears in the right panel.

Step 7: Copy or Re-humanize

Once you're satisfied with the results:

  • Click the clipboard icon to copy the humanized text

  • Click "Re-humanize text" if you want to try again with a different result (uses additional credits)

Important Notes About Credits

  • Credit cost equals your word count (250 words = 250 credits)

  • Credits refresh monthly for all subscription plans

  • Unlimited plans don't use credits for humanization

  • Your current credit balance is visible on your dashboard

  • Re-humanizing uses additional credits based on the output word count

Tips for Best Results

  • Break very long documents into sections that fit within your plan's word limit

  • Choose the "Enhanced" mode for content that needs to bypass strict AI detection

  • Use "Professional" mode when you want to preserve more of the original phrasing

  • Select the tone that matches your target audience

  • Re-humanize if your Human Score is below 80

GPT Human automatically detects your content's language and uses the appropriate humanization engine. Supported languages include English, Spanish, French, German, and many more.
